what's in a quilt

Collective Threads quilts feature a variety of fabric types. Though most of our quilt tops and backings are made from 100% cotton fabrics, others may include distinctive silks, wools, hand-dyed and hand-loomed fabrics from the US, Africa, India and Japan. Our quilts are warm and durable featuring dense 100% cotton batting. The layers of the quilts are held together by detailed machine quilting (see below.) Each quilt has a custom made double bias binding for long wear.

Collective Threads quilts are beautifully and meticulously machine quilted by talented machine quilters who work in conjunction with our artisans. Each quilt is custom quilted in organic and/or geometric designs that futher enhance the beauty of the piecing and the fabrics within the quilt. Our quilts are easy to care for. They are machine washable and can be machine dried. When you purchase a Collective Threads quilt, your quilt will arrive with detailed care instructions to help ensure a long life for your quilt. Care instructions include our recommendations for proper cleaning, freshening and storage to help ensure a long life for your quilt.

We can also email additional pictures (quilting details, backing etc.) of any quilt you are interested in. Collective Threads quilts have been individually priced to reflect the artistry and quality of each quilt. All quilts are inspected and priced according to their size, complexity in pattern and quilting and overall quality.

return policy

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your quilt, please call us to arrange a return. Quilts may be returned within 15 days of purchase for a refund. Quilts that have been used, washed or damaged in any way are not returnable. Once a return has been arranged, the quilt should be properly packaged, insured and shipped back to us. Collective Threads is not be responsible for quilts lost or damaged in return shipping.
