The Collective Threads gallery features distinctive quilts made by a select group of artisans in New England. Our goal is to offer quality quilts that are singularly unique, crafted with a human hand, and which possess characteristics of the artisan’s own quilt making methods. You will find many familiar quilting patterns here, as most of our quilts are rooted in traditional and historical patterns. The distinction of our quilts lies within the attention to composition, both in color and pattern, and combinations of fabric, which give the quilts a fresh and timeless feel.

Our artisans currently include Natalie Fream, Marcelle Szurley and Lisa Taft Sylvester. Each artisan has their own personal quilting methodology, color palettes and inspirations for quilt making. This allows us to offer a diverse range of styles and palettes, all which meet the standards of distinction and quality that define a Collective Threads quilt.
