Come learn to quilt in the spirit of old quilting bees. Enjoy time to wind down, enjoy the company of kindred quilt lovers, and learn the art of quilt making — Collective Threads style.

Join Collective Threads artisan, Lisa Taft Sylvester, for six evenings of tea, dessert and quilting. This quilting class series will guide you through the process of crafting a quilt from start to finish. Direction in pattern choice, fabric selection, piecing techniques and finishing will be given with the end result being a beautiful quilt crafted by you!

The group will meet at our 200 year old farmhouse in Richmond where you will work on your own project, at your own pace. Individual and group instruction will assist you through the complete process of building your quilt. Enjoy working in groups at our farm table or find a quiet corner by the fire to do some hand work. This series is designed to teach you how to quilt in an unhurried manner in a creative environment.

Mothers and daughters can enjoy time together to connect and learn the art of quilt making in our mother/daughter session. This session is for mom's with daughters 9 years old and up.
